Load Table Ratings

The Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) publishes Load Tables for un-metered connection points, such as street lighting, to provide a basis for the calculation of energy consumption by various devices.

The following energy savings are published in these National Electricity Market Load Tables:

Lamp Type	Nominal Lamp Rating	Active Reactor Power Consumption saving
High Pressure Sodium	150W	25%
High Pressure Sodium	250W	27%
High Pressure Sodium	400W	26%
Metal Halide	150W	15%

The values are obtained from independent power consumption tests carried out by a NATA (National Australian Testing Authority) approved laboratory and are agreed on by AEMO, responsible persons, Registered Participants and other relevant parties including . electricity distribution companies.
